Indonesia is an archipelago country with plenty of beautiful places to visit. Thousands of islands are spread from east to west under equator line. One of the small islands is Bangka-Belitung. This two islands are under Sumatera Selatan, before they were separated and built a new province on 21 November 2000. People give “The tin’s island” as a nickname for Bangka-Belitung because they contain so much tin in under both of this islands. As a huge tin supplier of the world, tin has a huge contribution for the economic of this young province.

One and the bigest island of Bangka-Belitung’s provice is Bangka Island. The largest Tin mining island at Indonesia. Bangka was claimed as the bigest supplier of tin in the world and until this time despite the stock is decreased. Can we imagine what will the citizens do if the tin is run out of stock? May be this island will be a ghost island. Every year most of the potential young citizen leave this island to look for better earning. Economically, the citizens is depending on Tin mining for earning their life. This is the time to develop this island. Develop the tourism in this island. So for the next, citizen will not depend on tin which stock has been shortage.
What is the most potential chance beside the tin?? Bangka have a potential chance as a tourism place. Why can it be? Because the beach of these island is verry good looking. In the first time, the white and smooth sand will make you fall in love with these islands. When you taste the food, you will be falling in love for the second time. The seafood is also cheap. This is not the final.., the others beautiful place of Bangka will make you come back to this island and stay at your memory. We call it : “tekeneng”. ..

You will find so many “budak” here.. But they are not sleves. “Budak” means child. So please feel free to call them you can call : ” Budak Bangka”.
